We are excited about your interest in joining RPTA! Membership in RPTA is open to any person who has a degree in music or is actively engaged in the profession of music as a teacher, performer or as a college music student.
Please note that new members must pay all membership dues by October 1st in order to be able to participate in the Young Artist Auditions, Ensemble Festival, and Scholarship Auditions. Members whose dues have lapsed for one full membership year or more may rejoin at any time by paying current dues, but they also must pay all dues by October 1st in order to participate in the Young Artist Auditions, Ensemble Festival, or Scholarship Auditions. Renewing members must pay all dues by July 1st. *Dues are paid directly to MTNA, not RPTA.*
Dues for the 2011-2012 year are:
MTNA Dues (National) $66.00
NCMTA Dues (State) $30.00
Raleigh Piano Teachers (Local) $30.00
2011-2012 Total Dues $126.00
To apply for membership in RPTA, please follow the instructions below:
1) Complete the "Join Now" application form for new members of MTNA at www.mtna.org under the "Membership" menu at the top of the page. Be sure to indicate your local chapter as RPTA.
2) Complete the RPTA application form below. Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the form and click "submit" when done. You will be contacted regarding your membership at the e-mail address you provide.
