The Raleigh Piano Teachers Association, founded in 1955, is a qualified body of professional music educators teaching music through the piano in an effort to foster the cultural and artistic aspirations of the surrounding community.  The purpose of this association is to exchange ideas and to discuss teaching problems, to create a love and understanding of the music we teach, and to promote cooperative interest in our professional activities.  The Raleigh Piano Teachers Association is affiliated with the North Carolina Music Teachers Association, founded in 1959, and the Music Teachers National Association, founded in 1876.  Please visit the About Us page to learn more.

Sheila Paige Saturday, February 25
The next Sheila Paige technique clinic will be held at the home of Brenda Bruce (103 Birkhaven Dr. Cary,  NC 27511) on Saturday, February 25 from 2:30-4:30pm.  Due to this location change, registration will be limited to the first 25 people who respond.  RSVP to Margaret Evans (evansm@meredith.edu) by Monday, February 20.  For more information, see the Sheila Paige link. 

YAA Honors Recitals
The YAA Honors Recitals will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Kenan Recital Hall at Peace College (William Peace University).  Recital times are TBA.
