Printable YAA Certificates
If you choose to fill out the YAA certificate using your printer, you may download the following Word document templates as Word 97-2003 or Word 2007 files. Please see the instructions below for typing in info and printing.

1) Simply type and tab. 2) Print on a WHITE TEST SHEET FIRST to see that the words align and to know which way to load your certificates into the printer. 3) If you need to adjust the margins, the document is not password protected. You can click the "Developer" tab and click on the "Protect Document" button. Then select "Stop Protection" and you can increase or decrease the top margin to fit. 4) Your other option, of course, is to handwrite them.

Why YAA?
The purpose of the Young Artist Auditions is to promote the performance of American piano music as well as choice piano pieces by non-American composers, and to award competition winners. The intent is to encourage all piano students below the college level to perform, enjoy, and create music, and to make music an important part of their lives as they continue studying piano.
How the Divisions Work YAA offers many different entry options for students and their teachers based upon the student's level in piano and the type of audition desired. Below is a chart you may find helpful. More detailed information about each YAA audition division is available on the Guidelines page.
