We are excited about your interest in joining RPTA!

Membership in RPTA is open to any individual professionally engaged in a music activity. To join us, visit the MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) website homepage and click "Join MTNA" under the "Join + Renew" menu tab at the top of the page. Follow the instructions for joining as a new member, and when prompted select "Raleigh Piano Teachers Association" as your local association. Once your dues payment has been processed, you are officially a member of RPTA. Our membership chairperson will receive notification of your membership in 4-6 weeks.

If you have any questions or concerns about membership, contact our 2nd Vice-President of Membership listed on the Officers page.

Membership in RPTA is maintained by paying yearly dues through the MTNA website. You will receive a notification from MTNA when your renewal is due.

*Please note that new members must pay all membership dues by October 1st in order to participate as members in the Young Artist Auditions, Ensemble Festival, and Scholarship Auditions. Members whose dues have lapsed for one full membership year or more may rejoin at any time by paying current dues, but they also must pay all dues by October 1st in order to participate as members in the Young Artist Auditions, Ensemble Festival, or Scholarship Auditions. Renewing members must pay all dues by July 1st.*
