I received my Bachelors degree in piano performance from Northwestern University and completed graduate studies in piano performance at Indiana University-Bloomington. I received my Certificate as a Taubman Approach Instructor from the Golandsky Institute studying with Master Taubman teacher Robert Durso. I believe in a nurturing and collaborative approach to learning, and prioritize a healthy physical relationship to the instrument as part of a well-rounded musical education. Having overcome playing-related injuries myself, I particularly enjoy helping others to overcome injury, fatigue, and technical limitations at the piano through the Taubman Approach. I believe the Taubman work gives all students the ability to reach their highest artistic potential and benefits students of every age and level. I welcome beginning, intermediate, advanced, and professional-level students. More info at www.rachelbussey.net
